Leigh-on-Sea Caledonian Dancers meet on Monday evenings at St James Church Hall, Elmsleigh Drive, Leigh-on-Sea, Essex. We gather to enjoy SCOTTISH COUNTRY DANCING. This is not HIGHLAND STEP dance, nor does it involve swords! Couples dance in sets, and all members receive a booklet with dance notations. There is no need to wear a kilt or a plaidie. You do not need to have a partner with you - there will be plenty of willing persons to join you in a dance.
Club meetings begin at 7:45pm - and there is a "technical" session at 7:15pm for those who wish to brush up on the steps and formations.
